Mobile Fleet Mechanic

Job Duties:

• Well versed in general truck/trailer repair and maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles all makes and models.
• Ability to work offsite at various customer locations and in a variety of working conditions.
• Work safely and efficiently with little supervision.
• Must be able to keep the customer’s vehicles and work area clean.
• Must be willing to work with the public, be able to upsell and promote their truck to customers.
• Be willing and able to work after hours, weekends, and be on call.

Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Ability to work independently and professionally with one on one customer interaction.
• Positive attitude and the ability to sell the benefits of mobile fleet service.
• Strong computer skills, the ability to manage and complete service paperwork in a timely manner.
• Solid written and verbal communication.

Requirements for Mobile Fleet Technician:

• Valid class A CDL with medical card and the ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle.
• Certified to inspect commercial motor vehicles.
• Experience welding and using a cutting torch.
• Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
