Heavy Equipment Service Manager (will not consider auto service managers)
This person is responsible for:
-Managing the day to day operations of the service department employees
-Managing the Parts and sales for branch
-Build and maintain relations with current and new customers
-Manage , mentor and lead technicians and manage the local Safety program
-Other responsibilities as assigned by senior management
Abilities and Skills:
-Must be highly mechanical, a natural leader, positive, motivated and have the highest level of ethical standards
-Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
-Exercise exceptional judgment
-Superior verbal and written communication skills and inter-personal skills
-Strong organizational skills
-Ability to read and write the English language
-Excellent computer and mathematical skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows Explorer and contact management software)
-Recognize and follow company procedures and policies
-Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience and Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred; though alternative education with relevant work experience may be considered *6-8 years in an equipment dealership)
-Minimum of two (2) years of Service Management experience
-Must have a background that is directly or indirectly involved in Heavy Equipment / Construction Equipment and Service Management
